God Is My Defender

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from foes too mighty for me. They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into the open; He rescued me because He delighted in me. The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands. For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God. Psalms 18: 16-21

If you really dive into verse 16 you will see that God shows us that He already knew we were in the situation we are facing, and He is concerned about us. In His Word it says He sent from above and it says He took me, so because He sees the trouble I am facing He sent help and rescued me from the trouble I was in. Whenever we think a situation is to hard, we have to remember there is nothing too hard for God and He is the one leading, guiding and protecting us. Sometimes I go through what I think is the hardest season of my life and God is right there showing me that whatever I go through it will not overtake me.

God is never going to just bring you out of a situation without planting you somewhere safely and setting you up for success so that you can be able to share it with the world. God gives us a testimony for Him to be glorified in it allowing lost souls to be saved. Just when you think it’s getting to hard God steps in and sends His angels concerning you. God has put protection over our lives so even when you are being attacked on every side it won’t consume you. If He didn’t think you could handle it He wouldn’t let you go through it. It’s in his word and God is not a man that He shall lie.
