If The Lord Is With Us ?

Judges 6: 13-14

“Please, my Lord,” Gideon replied, “if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all His wonders of which our fathers told us, saying, ‘Has not the LORD brought us up out of Egypt?’ But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hand of Midian.”

The LORD  turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Am I not sending you?”

There are 3 things I want to point out in these Verses and the are

• Egypt

• Strength

• Isreal

  A lot of times When we are going through something or if something happens to a loved one a friend, or spouse such as death, divorce, break up or financial hardship we tend to blame God for that or get frustrated with Him. Leaving us to question His existence and will for our lives.

In order for God to take you to the next level (which we all call it the promise land) He has to take you through some things to strengthen and build your character.

The definition of Egypt means, One of the most powerful nations of ancient times, located in the northwest corner of Africa; the Israelites were captives in Egypt at the beginning of the book of Exodus.

Egypt represents the very thing that you are going through right now, the thing that seems to hard to bare, that thing that you can barely get out of bed and face, that thing that has you feeling like you are defeated, that thing that has you feeling like God gave up on you. Yeah luv that’s that thing called Egypt.

Egypt is where the Israelites suffered greatly and made them feel like they were in the worst possible situation in their life. It wasn’t until they cried out to God that He then heard their cries and delivered them out of their situation, God brought them to the promise land.

The definition for strength is the capacity of an object or substance to withstand great force or pressure.

It doesn’t matter how weak you are or how in capable you feel do it anyway because God is right there carrying you through. I know it’s hard but I promise you it will get better.

God will give you everything you need for the battle along with the strategy, in judges 6 if you read a little further down you will see how God showed Gideon what to do to defeat the Midian’s.

Israel is the new name that God gave to Jacob.

God will change your story, He doesn’t intend for you to suffer any longer then your suppose to, He has to allow you to endure somethings so you will know how to move when you walk into your Purpose.
